A 19-years-old Indonesian man reportedly collapsed after he was flogged nearly 150 times on Thursday, November 26, for raping a child in a province where public whipping is regarded as punishment for violating Islamic law.
According to insights gathered from Daily Mail, the suspect cried out and grimaced as a masked Sharia officer lashed his back with a rattan stick at Idi.
While he pleaded for the punishment to stop, he was briefly treated by doctors as the flogging restarted.

The suspect was apprehended earlier this year on charges of molestation and rape of a child victim, whose age was not revealed.
He was sentenced to 146 lashes, a high number reportedly reserved for the most serious crimes.
