The maiden edition of the Jude Gbaboyor Soccer Championship has reached the semi-final stage.

Four teams led by the host club; Jude Gbaboyor Football Academy, Lord Honour FC, Bisaloo FC and Jay Great FC are to slug it out for the N1 million star prize.

The first of the would-be fierce encounters see Jude Gbaboyor FA take on Lord Honours on Wednesday June 28 at the Isaba Grammar School pitch.

Both teams have showcased impressive gameplay throughout the tournament, and the match is set to be an exceptional display of soccer skills.

Fans should expect to see a thrilling battle for control between these two teams, who will be aiming for the finals.

On the hand, Bisaloo FC and Jay Great FC will take the stage for the second semi-finals encounter n Thursday June 29 at the same venue.

These two teams have been standouts in the tournament, delivering some of the most exciting football games seen by fans. Viewers should expect a highly-competitive game between the two sides, who will undoubtedly give their all to secure a spot in the finals.

Kick-off time for both games is fixed for 2:30 pm

Followers of the tournament have predicted both games to be intense as all teams will give their best efforts to outshine their opponents.

Meanwhile, winner of the tournament will pocket the N1 million star prize, second place team will smile home with N500,000, while the third place team will go home with N300,000 alongside other consolation prizes.
