The Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, Great Joshua Maciver has described the party’s governorship candidate, Chief Timipre Marlin Sylva as a ‘beacon of hope’.
Maciver gave the encomium in commemoration of the 59th birth anniversary of the former minister of Petroleum Resources for state.
According to Maciver, “Sylva is a symbol of excellence to Bayelsa and the nation at large’, adding that ‘his visionary leadership and remarkable achievements has undoubtedly positioned him as a strong candidate for the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in the state.’
Describing Sylva as ‘a visionary leader that possesses astute understanding of the challenges faced by the people, coupled with his unwavering determination to bring about positive change,’ Maciver said the Okpo-ama-born politician ‘will undoubtedly pave the way for a brighter future for Bayelsa.’

Meanwhile, the APC deputy governorship candidate is upbeat of victory at the forthcoming election in the state.
