BURUTU: Alapala Pays N1.6m Medical Bill for Constituents

The candidate of the All Progressive Congress for the rerun election for Burutu Constituency 1 in the Delta State House of Assembly, Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo on Friday, paid medical bills worth N1,240,000 on behalf of two constituents.

In another gigantic display of benevolence, Alapala rose to clear the bills accrued by a man identified Mr Eniyekedou Edeotu, whose wife delivered through a Cesarean operation.

Another beneficiary through Peter Kofa, who underwent a major surgery, had medical bills worth N490,000 cleared by the candidate.

The renowned philanthropist first executed the gesture during a visit to Oboro Unit 9, paying medical bills worth N750,000 for the Edeotu family.

The beneficiary, Mr Eniyekedou Edeotu, on behalf of his wife, Anthonia showed appreciation to the candidate for rising to the occasion by displaying goodwill once again.

Mr Peter Kofa at Enekorogha Unit 26 also received aid of N490,000 when Alapala paid a campaign visit to the community on Friday.

The APC candidate further distributed N100,000 each to four families who welcomed newborns prior to and during his visit.
