West Ham is prepared to pay approximately £30 million for the centre-back, though it’s a significant drop from Man United’s initial £80 million investment.

Given Maguire’s recent decline in performance, this sum seems reasonable and is an improvement over West Ham’s original £20 million offer, which Manchester United declined.

Still, there are a few remaining issues to resolve before Maguire’s departure from Manchester United is finalized.

There’s speculation that Maguire might ask for compensation from his current club due to the likelihood of earning less with West Ham.
