Chukwueze Aims for Trophies with AC Milan

Reportedly, Samuel Chukwueze has revealed that his move to AC Milan, the Serie A giants, is fueled by his desire to win trophies.

The transfer saw Chukwueze leave LaLiga’s Villarreal in a €28 million deal just last month.

Having commenced training with his new teammates this week, the 24-year-old also marked his unofficial debut during a friendly match against Monza on Tuesday night.

Expressing his eagerness to begin, Chukwueze shared, “I’m impatient to kick things off.

I believe we possess the strength to outshine any competition in Serie A.

So, when we face the likes of Inter and Juventus, we are certainly capable of emerging victorious,” according to Football Italia.

He continued, “I haven’t come here merely to watch or accumulate earnings; my purpose is to secure titles.

My role is to engage in football and etch my name into Milan’s history, ensuring my legacy endures.

I aspire to establish both my personal reputation and contribute to Milan’s stature.

Failure to win is not an option.

Influential Napoli Capocannoniere, Osimhen, played a pivotal role in persuading Chukwueze, his fellow Nigerian international, to transition to the Italian scene.

“He’s my closest companion; we’ve journeyed together from Under-17 to the Super Eagles, thus sharing a common origin,” Chukwueze noted.

Seeking counsel about Serie A, he recounted, “Osimhen portrayed Milan as a grand and remarkable club.

He predicted my success in Serie A.

His key advice was to converse with the coach and ensure genuine interest.

Pioli has been exceptionally supportive,” Chukwueze added.
