Arsenal Football Club has officially announced that their newly signed player, Jurrien Timber, suffered an injury during his debut Premier League match.

During the Gunners’ recent 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest on August 12, the 22-year-old Timber sustained an injury.

Reports indicate that Timber’s injury involves his right knee’s Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), which will require a significant recovery period.

Arsenal.com has emphasized the club’s commitment to Timber’s rehabilitation process and their dedication to facilitating his swift return to the field.

Hailing from the Netherlands, Timber made the move to Arsenal from Eredivisie’s Ajax during the current summer transfer window.

The club invested £34 million in acquiring Timber’s talents, with potential add-ons potentially raising the total fee to £38.5 million.
