L’Équipe’s sources suggest that Liverpool’s priority is to acquire a left-footed centre-back, and Arthur Theate, the Belgian defender, has made it onto their shortlist to fulfil this requirement.
However, competition for Theate’s signature is emerging, with Fulham also expressing interest in acquiring the versatile defender’s services.
