The Justice will clock 70 years of mandatory retirement age on October 27.
In a statement signed by its Director of Press and Information, Dr Akande Aweneri Festus, the court disclosed that the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, will preside over a valedictory session in honour of the retiring jurist, on Friday.
“A valedictory court session will be held in honour of Justice Musa Dattijo on Friday, October 27, 2023.”
The bench of the Supreme Court of Nigeria has hit an all-time low of 10 Justices following the retirement of Dattijo.
