A man identified as Somadina Orji has reportedly killed his Mother, Charity Orji, and sister, Ukamaka Orji in Enugu State.
Somadina Orji, from Igboariam in Anambra State committed the crime on December 4, 2023, at Umuagu Inyi, in Oji River Local Council of Enugu State.
He killed Charity Orji on a certain afternoon when she returned from a condolence visit at Akpugoeze, according to a community leader in the area.

Upon her return, he killed and buried her in a shallow grave in their backyard.
The Suspect, an alleged drug addict was said to have been having issues with his mother before the act.
It was gathered that Ukamaka Orji had gone missing for two weeks before he had an issue with his mother.
Reports suggested that his younger brother who suspected something was wrong when he came home and couldn’t find his mother raised the alarm.
The Suspect was thereafter arrested by the Enugu State Police Command.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Daniel Ndukwe disclosed that Somadina Orji would be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of the ongoing investigations.
Charity Orji, a native of Inyi was married in Igboariam, Anambra State. She had been living in her family house with her children for some years, according to reports.
