NLC, TUC Gives Govs Ultimatum on N35k Minimum Wage

On Tuesday night, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) decided to suspend its nationwide two-day protest after day one.

According to the NLC, the suspension follows their National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.

The Labour Union stated that the protest’s objectives have already been achieved on the first day of the demonstration.

The communique partly read:

“Consequently, NEC-in-session resolved as follows: to suspend street action for the second day of the Protest having achieved overwhelming success thus attained the key objectives of the 2-day protest on the first day.”
