Tompolo, Tantita MD, Otuaro, Other Big Wigs to Attend IPF's Inauguration

Foremost Niger Delta freedom fighter, High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo and the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Limited, Chief Engr. Kestin Pondi will lead other big wigs to the inauguration ceremony of Ijaw Publishers Forum, IPF.

The IPF, an umbrella body of media executives spread cross Ijaw nation will be inaugurating its first National Executive Council on Thursday February 29, 2024.

The much-anticipated event billed to hold at the Tunde Smooth Playground, along NPA Expressway, Warri, Delta State, will also have the immediate-past Deputy Governor of Delta State, Kingsley Otuaro as a Special Guest.

While Engr Pondi will serve as Chairman of the Occasion, Tompolo will oversee the event as Father of The Day, as keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Paul Bebenimibo.

Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission’s Executive Director, Chief Favour Izoukumor is a Special Guest of Honor alongside Delta Assembly Speaker, Emomotimi Guwor and Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku.

The Guests of Honor list include Comrade Sheriff Mulade, National Coordinator, Centre For Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ); Comrade Joseph Evah, National Coordinator Ijaw Monitoring Group; Sylvester Oromoni, Keyness Oromoni, Bolowei Ogoba, Chief Michael Johnny, Boro Opudu and Spencer Okpoye (DESPODEC Commissioner).

The Pere of Akugbene Mein Kingdom, Pere Stanley Luku-Kalanama, and his Ogbe-Ijoh Warri-Kingdom counterpart, HRM Couple Oromoni will also be present as Royal Fathers of The Day.

Highlife maestro, Chief Barrister Smooth will thrill guests with musical performance with a special appearance by King Pereama Freetown, the Numupere II of Ijaw nation.

Other expected dignitaries include the President of Ijaw National Congress, Prof. Benjamin Okaba and his Ijaw Youth Council’s counterpart, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri.
