Fire has razed a female hostel of the University of Benin, Edo State.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the incident occured on Tuesday, March 20, 2024.gutted by fire.
An X user with username Ruth Nifemi, took to the microblogging platform to shared a video of the incident.
According to Nifemi, the fire destroyed some documents and an entire room at the Hall 2 hostel of the university.

She lamented that fire service arrived the scene of the incident without water.
She wrote, “Hall 2 UNIBEN is on fire and fire service came without water
“Entire room with documents burnt down”
