Former Premier League goalkeeper David James has weighed in on this season’s title race, suggesting that it’s primarily a battle between Liverpool and Manchester City. James expressed skepticism about Arsenal’s ability to contend with Liverpool and Manchester City for the title this season.
Currently, Liverpool leads the Premier League table, holding a two-point advantage over second-place Arsenal and a three-point lead over third-place Manchester City.
“Personally, I think it’s a two-horse race. This is going to sound really bizarre and I know Arsenal are in there and I know Arsenal are winning games, but I don’t think Arsenal are good enough to win the title. And I say that with respect,” James told The Mirror.

“I think this is between Manchester City and Liverpool to the point that even if Arsenal are still mathematically capable of winning the title with a few games to go, it is not that they’re going to win it.”
