FG Begs NLC To Suspend Nationwide Strike

The National Labour Congress (NLC) president, Joe Ajaero has insisted that the minimum wage should not be below N615,000.

In an interview with Channels TV, Ajaero argued that workers deserve a “living wage” that is sufficient to cover their basic needs.

His argument follows federal government’s decision to raise civil servants’ salaries by 35 per cent.
