Spanish golfer Jon Rahm holds the second spot, thanks to his move to the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf, which guarantees him at least $300 million. Rahm’s total earnings amount to $218 million.
In third place is Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi, who earned $135 million after joining Major League Soccer (MLS). Messi’s on-field earnings are $65 million, while his off-field income, bolstered by deals with brands like Adidas and Apple, totals $70 million.
