Musician-turned-politician Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has returned to the classroom following his defeat in the 2023 Nigerian general election.

As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency in Lagos State, Banky W lost to Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party (LP).

Updating his followers on Instagram on Friday, Banky W shared that he is now pursuing a master’s degree in policy at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
