DJ Cuppy Mourns Maternal Grandmother’s Passing

Nigerian DJ Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has announced the passing of her maternal grandmother.

In a heartfelt message, DJ Cuppy shared that she takes comfort in knowing her grandmother is now “in heaven” and expressed gratitude for the way her grandma raised her mother, who then raised her.

On X, she wrote: “My mummy’s mother has passed away. I find solace knowing she’s in heaven, watching over us with love. I’m grateful for how she shaped my mum, who then shaped me. Though this season of change is sudden, we know our God is good all the time. Grandma Kaduna, your spirit lives on, guiding and comforting us. #RIP.”
