Outrage has broken out following the death of a pedestrian in Ogun state.

According to reports from the State Police Command PRO, Omolola Odutola, an accident which involved a vehicle and a motorcycle on Akarigbo Road, Sabo, Sagamu, Ogun State, on Sunday, August 18 resulted in the death of the pedestrian.

 

The accident, which happened around 11:30 am saw the collision of the a Toyota vehicle with plate number LND125VD, which koat control and a Bajaj motorcycle, with plate number FFF450VH.

It was gathered that collision threw the motorcyclist and pedestrian into an open drainage.

The vehicle driver was said to have fled the scene afterwards, the motorcyclist and the pedestrian sustained varying degrees of injury.

The unidentified pedestrian was later pronounced dead by a doctor at the hospital he was taken to.
