Veteran Nigerian musician Baba Fryo has accused rising artist Nasboi of stealing lyrics from his classic hit, “Denge Pose.”
In a recent viral video, Baba Fryo expressed his frustration and called for proper credit and compensation for his work. This comes after Nasboi released his new song, “Short Skirt,” which Fryo claims includes lyrics from his track.

Fryo urged Nasboi to contact him directly to resolve the issue before he takes further action. Speaking in pidgin, he said, “Nigerians, greetings. This issue has been bothering me for a while. Now, I want to take action. Nasboi’s song ‘Short Skirt’ includes my lyrics, ‘Dengo dey denge Denge.’ Anyone who knows him should tell him to reach out to me before things get worse. I’m not happy about this, and I want it to be the last time someone uses my work without permission.”
