Comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, popularly known as AY Comedian, has expressed his frustration about the growing challenges of being a Nigerian.

AY Comedian shared his feelings on his X handle on Thursday, stating, “Being a Nigerian just gets tougher and tougher by the minute.”

In a similar vein, reality TV star Josephine Ijeoma Otabor, known as Phyna, has criticized the recent increase in fees for obtaining a Nigerian passport.

She argued that the hike is unwarranted, given the low regard for the Nigerian passport in many countries.

On her X handle, she wrote, “Increasing the price of our passport when it barely gets respect in other countries is just unbelievable… This country seems to be going downhill, and nothing good is coming out of it.”
