Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has shared his thoughts on the club’s newest signing, Mikel Merino. Arteta praised the 28-year-old midfielder, saying he will bring significant quality to the team and strengthen the Gunners’ squad.
Arsenal signed Merino from Real Sociedad, and he will be wearing the number 23 shirt at the Emirates Stadium.
Speaking to the club’s website, Mikel Arteta said, “Mikel is a player who brings a lot of quality with his experience and versatility. He has played at the highest level for both club and country for several seasons. His technical ability, along with his strong and positive character, will make our squad much stronger.”
