BREAKING: DSS Arrests NLC President, Joe Ajaero

The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).

According to PUNCH Online, Ajaero was detained on Monday morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, while en route to London for an official assignment.

Ajaero was scheduled to attend the Trade Union Congress conference in London, which begins today. The reason for his arrest is not yet clear.
