Manchester United is reportedly preparing for a potential managerial change as pressure mounts on Erik ten Hag following a disappointing start to the season.

The Red Devils had a challenging previous season, finishing eighth in the Premier League and being knocked out of their Champions League group.

Erik Ten Hag position was in jeopardy until he managed to secure an FA Cup victory against Manchester City, which temporarily eased the pressure on him.

Despite the win, the team’s struggles have continued into the current season, leading to increasing speculation about his future.

Manchester United managed a narrow 1-0 win over Fulham, but subsequent losses, including a 2-1 defeat to Brighton and a heavy loss to Liverpool at Old Trafford, have intensified the scrutiny on Ten Hag.

The club’s ownership is reportedly keeping a close eye on Zidane as a possible successor should Ten Hag’s tenure fail to improve.

Zidane, who has not managed a team since 2021, remains a highly sought-after coach. In addition to the potential Manchester United role, Zidane is also being considered as a leading candidate to replace Didier Deschamps as the France national team manager.
