Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has urged Labour Party (LP) supporters in Edo State to safeguard their votes during the September 21 governorship election.

Otti, who joined LP’s governorship candidate, Olumide Akpata, during campaign rallies in Benin, emphasized the importance of protecting votes to ensure the party’s victory.

The Abia governor shared his experience in Abia State, where he said they didn’t sleep for four days to ensure their votes were not compromised.

He advised young people to stay behind at polling units after voting to protect the votes and follow the results from the units to the wards, local government, and state collation centers.
