Okpebholo Wins with 403 Votes in Oshiomhole’s Polling Unit | Daily Report Nigeria

Former Governor of Edo State, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, has led his polling unit to a landslide victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Monday Okpebholo, in the ongoing Edo governorship election.

According to the results from Ward 10, Polling Unit 1, Etsako West Local Government Area, Okpebholo polled an overwhelming 403 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Asue Ighodalo, managed just one vote. The Labour Party candidate, Olumide Akpata, failed to secure any votes.

Oshiomhole, who was present at the polling unit, expressed satisfaction with the outcome, saying, “I am thrilled that my people have spoken loud and clear. This is a testament to the trust they have in our party and our candidate.”

When asked about the margin of victory, Oshiomhole said, “Well, I think it is a reflection of the hard work we have put into this campaign. We have always said that we are the party of the people, and this result is a testament to that.”
