Operatives of the Nigeria Food and Drug Administration Control, NAFDAC have confirmed the parade and close of shops in Nasarawa state.
According to reports, a handful of shops were closed down, for reportedly selling adulterated and counterfeit wines and spirits in Mararaba Market and the New Nyanya and Masaka areas of Nasarawa State.

This discovery led to the seizure of good worth over N41.2 million.

In a statement released by the agency today, it urged customers to be more vigilant, adding that the NAFDAC is working hard in arresting manufacturers responsible for the production of such goods.
