Kogi University Dismisses 4 Lecturer For Sexual Misconduct, Others | Daily Report Nigeria

  • Four lecturers of the Federal University, Lokoja have been dismissed following various allegations.

  • Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the lecturers were accused of examination malpractice, and sexual misconduct.

The governing body of the Federal University, Lokoja have dismissed 4 lecturers.

The council, which is headed by Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba passed the judgment after it’s second Council Meeting on Thursday, November 14.

The council had ordered an investigation into the lecturers last year following multiple accusations and allegations of exam malpractice and sexual misconducts.

“The council will not tolerate any unethical conduct in the university” he said

While cautioning staffs against different misconduct, the senator also enjoined the university to quickly process the remaining cases of misconduct pending, especially the one in the Faculty of Science that is trending in the media.

The council also urged the students always to speak out when they are molested.
