A doctor has been confirmed dead after being attacked and shot by unknown assailants.
According to reports the deceased, Nondumiso Nkosi, 32 was a doctor at Rob Ferreira Hospital.

She was said to have been killed in a parking lot of a gym in Mpumalanga, at Virgin Active in Riverside in Mbombela, South Africa on November 20, 2024.
According to a family member who confirmed the incident, no details will be given, as the police have begunare investigating the shooting.
He says the family has requested privacy while dealing with the loss of their loved one.

Also confirming the incident, the Provincial police spokesperson Brigadier Donald Mdhluli said the deceased was shot on her way into the gym.
“The victim parked her car and got out. As she was walking towards the gym, a Toyota Starlet drove towards her. One of the assailants got out of the vehicle and shot the woman three times before fleeing the scene. Nothing was stolen from her,” he said.
