Tension has gripped Anambra State following the abduction of Hon. Justice Azuka, a lawmaker representing Onitsha North State Constituency, by unidentified gunmen.
The incident occurred on Tuesday around 9:20 pm along Ugwunaobamkpa Road, Inland Town, Onitsha, as the lawmaker was returning home.
Confirming the development, Anambra State Police Command’s Spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, stated, “The Anambra Police Command has activated operational plans for the possible rescue and arrest of the kidnappers.”

According to Ikenga, “The report of the sad event revealed that on 24/12/2024 by 9:20 pm, while returning home at Ugwunaobamkpa road, he was abducted by yet unidentified persons.”
The Command is working on clues for the possible rescue and arrest of the kidnappers.
