According to reports from the State Police command, it was gathered that struck had lost control, and ran into an house.
This accident happened in Okete Village, Otukpo Local Government Area, in the early hours of Thursday, January 16.

Confirming the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria, the PPRO of the state command, CSP Sewuese Anene said the accident occurred when a mining truck rammed into a residential compound, and killed the nine family members.
Also confirming the accident, a community leader, Ekah Bernard said the death toll is currently 10, and some people are receiving treatments at the hospital.
