The Iduwini National Youth Movement for Peace and Development, representing communities across Delta and Bayelsa States, has commended High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, for his outstanding contributions to security, development, and environmental sustainability in the Niger Delta region.
Through his firm, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), Tompolo has played a crucial role in addressing the long-standing issue of oil theft that has negatively impacted Nigeria’s economy and the environment.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Iduwini National Youth Movement for Peace and Development President, Comrade Loveday Omoli.
According to Loveday, “Tompolo’s strategic collaboration with the Nigerian military and other security agencies has led to the dismantling of countless illegal refining sites and the interception of vessels involved in crude oil theft.

“These efforts have directly contributed to increasing Nigeria’s crude oil production, with reports indicating a surge to approximately 1.8 million barrels per day.
“The positive environmental impact of these actions can not be overstated. By shutting down illegal refineries and halting crude oil theft, Tompolo has helped restore waterways and reduce pollution, creating a safer and healthier environment for residents, business owners, oil companies, and potential investors.
“These actions have significantly improved environmental conditions in the Niger Delta, fostering an ecosystem that supports sustainable development.
“In addition to security and environmental efforts, Tompolo has demonstrated a profound commitment to corporate social responsibility.
“Tantita Security Services has employed over 25,000 youths from various Niger Delta ethnic groups, providing meaningful livelihoods and curbing youth restiveness.
“The organization has also invested in critical infrastructure, including repairing failed roads in Warri and providing housing to support military transit, thereby enhancing safety and quality of life for the region’s residents.
“We also recognize Tompolo’s influence in attracting contracts and developmental projects to the Niger Delta.
“Notable among these contributions is his support for educational institutions such as the Nigerian Maritime Academy, which continues to empower young minds in the region.
Comrade Loveday expressed profound appreciation, stating, “It would be a sin against humanity and the gods of our land if we fail to acknowledge the remarkable contributions of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo.
