Sani praised the governor for building bridges across the state, leading to his decision to return to the APC, which he helped found in Kaduna State.
Former lawmaker Shehu Sani has rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC) after leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Sani, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, had initially dumped the APC in October 2018 amid controversies surrounding the party’s primaries.

He then defected to the PDP and secured the party’s senatorial ticket but lost the 2019 election to the current governor of Kaduna state, Uba Sani. On February 16, Sani returned to the APC alongside some PDP and New Nigeria Peoples Party members in Kaduna.
Speaking on a Channels Television programme, Hard Copy, Sani said, “A circumstance led to our mass exit from the APC sometime in 2018, and that circumstance has changed, and then we rejoined the APC in Kaduna state.”
He praised Governor Uba Sani for building bridges across the state, leading to his decision to return to the APC, which he helped found in Kaduna State.

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the recent hike in fuel price by Dangote Refinery, expressing disappointment and confusion.
According to Sani, Nigerians expected Dangote Refinery to reduce the price of fuel, not increase it.
