Armed to the teeth with banners and placards, residents in Abuja have hit the street in protest.
The protest, which is said to be large scale saw the intervention of military men in the area.

In a video making rounds online, people could be seen with placards, as they support and demand justice for Palestinians in the Middle East.
The video also showed a large crowd armed with placards on Aminu Kano crescent in Wuse 2 district of Abuja.

Military personnels could also be seen patrolling the area.
Armoured military tanks could be seen in the area, with military personnels stationed in different parts of the area.
