The Nationwide League One (NLO) has decided to lift the suspension on Mallick Olasunkanmi, the Sporting Director of La Planet FC, after the club submitted a formal appeal.
Olasunkanmi had previously faced suspension due to accusations of harassing both match and league officials during La Planet FC’s NLO matchday five game against Dohz FA on Sunday.
After reviewing the appeal, the NLO confirmed that the suspension had been officially revoked.

In addition to this, Olasunkanmi received a clear warning from the NLO, urging him to exercise better control over his emotions during future matches.
The decision was formally communicated to the Kwara State Football Association through a letter.

NLO’s Official Statement
The NLO’s letter to the Kwara State Football Association reads:
“The NLO received an appeal on the suspended officials of La Planet FC Ilorin.”
“Sequel to the above, the NLO secretariat hereby pardoned Mr. Abdulmalik Olasunkanmi of La Planet FC and the suspension is hereby lifted.”
“He is hereby warned to control his emotions during the game.”
The NLO also addressed the red card handed to La Planet FC’s team manager, Moshood Olalekan.
It was confirmed that the red card would be enforced according to the official match regulations, without any additional disciplinary actions.
