Chairman and Founder of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has announced cash rewards for Nigeria’s Super Eagles following their impressive 2–0 victory over Algeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Rabiu made the pledge in a message shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Saturday, where he congratulated the players for their quarter-final triumph and praised their impact on national morale.

According to him, the Super Eagles will receive a cash reward of $500,000 if they win their semi-final match, alongside a bonus of $50,000 for every goal scored in the encounter. He further pledged $1,000,000 should the team go on to lift the AFCON trophy, with an additional $100,000 incentive for each goal scored in the final.

The business mogul urged the players to maintain their momentum and continue making Nigerians proud as they chase continental glory.

Nigeria sealed their semi-final ticket after a commanding 2–0 win over Algeria at the Stade de Marrakech. The Super Eagles are scheduled to face host nation Morocco in the semi-final on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
