Speaking at the reception, the President said the exhibition’s theme, Nigeria’s modernism, represents more than an artistic concept, but a story of transformation and self-determination.

“The theme of the exhibition… is more than just a title for an art show. It is a testament to revolution. It tells the story of a generation of Nigerian giants… who refused to be despised but chose to define themselves,” he said.
