Passengers on their way to Warri from Lagos were on Wednesday diverted to Ibadan, leaving witnesses in a confused state.
According to an elderly occupant of the vehicle who gave his name as Sola, all other passengers suddenly fell asleep on the bus barring himself and another elderly woman.
According to Sola, he and other occupants of the vehicle have no explanation to how they landed in Ibadan.

The passengers had boarded the bus from a Dominion Motor Park in Ojota to Warri.
Shola explained he raised an alarm in the bus when he recognized Guri Maraji bus stop in Ibadan, but the driver attempted to pick another man who he suspected was waiting for him.
Sola and other four occupants of the vehicle prevented the driver from picking his suspected accomplice and hid the key cars.
Observers have quickly attributed the incident to an attempt by ritualist to hijack occupants of the bus.
