Uba A. Michael, is a serial Entrepreneur and Provocateur from Ughelli North LGA of Delta State, Nigeria.
Uba A. Michael is a staunch Civil Society and good governance advocate, unrepentant philanthropist, and an astute businessman who currently serves as the Chairman of UBACLE GROUP ( Darader Ltd. (Real Estate), BurentCabs Nigeria Ltd (Transport), Beatrice logistics and Burentis) which are some of his noble contributions towards ensuring optimum youth engagement and reduction in national unemployment statistics.
As an active Civil Society and Environmental activist, he has over the years lent his voice, resources and influence in campaigning to amplify the uncommon functions of Civil Society in the wake of a global pandemic, global warming, carbon emissions, ocean pollution, bio degradation and loss of bio diversity, ills of oil spillage, and police Brutality, which recently led to a nationwide agitation.

In addition, he has consistently highlighted the way forward by which Civil Society can better engage Government at all levels to achieve desired results in the pursuit of happiness and a better-led, better-served and better-governed society. Given the spate of Civil unrest witnessed in Nigeria and in notable countries around the world, Uba A.
Michael has also championed the vanguard to educate our young population on how best to channel their grievances in the most civil and lawful manner as provided for in our constitution.
Uba A. Michael has worked with Urhobo Progress Union (Youth Wing) and other social political groups to deepen and sustain the peace in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria,and has consistently advocated for a rather more strategic and symbiotic relationship between IOCs and host communities to make for mutual benefits for both parties.
Interfacing with Civil society organizations and other state actors in the different arms of government in different states, he has participated in organizing Civil society summits and award ceremonies to honour and recognize the strides of Civil Society Activists and Advocates in Delta State and in Nigeria, as well as to honour Citizens and other stakeholders who have supported the work of Civil Society, town hall meetings for electorate and the ruling class to have robust dialogue to improve citizens engagements, demand good governance and better the lot of citizens.
Still actively pursuing good governance, he has chaired campaigns for credible candidates fielded by the All Progressives Congress (APC), in a bid to present the electorate with better alternatives, and the opportunity to elect candidates who hold the values of good governance in high esteem, and whose mantra is to ensure the greatest happiness for the greatest number.
On the 6th of May 2021, Uba A. Michael was inducted into the HALL OF FAME, Fellow of the Chartered institute of Public Resources management and Politics (GHANA) and Also Received a Special Gold Award for Outstanding Leadership recognition and inspirational leadership ( West Africa).
He also is a certified fellow of the Chartered institute of management consultant. (FIMC)
Finally, as a humanitarian, Uba A. Michael has actively partnered with several NGOs on skill acquisition schemes for women and youth towards financial independence as an avenue to close the poverty and inequality gap in our society.
