Pondi Eddy Foundation, Glovision, MAT Take Free Medical Outreach to Delta Communities

A front-line non-governmental organization, Pondi Eddy Foundation, has disclosed plans to embark on a three days medical outreach in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

Daily Report Nigeria understands that the outreach will be executed in collaboration with Medical Aid Trust International and Glovision Specialist Eye Centre and Surgery.

The free medical exercise billed for 9 – 11 December 2021 will be carried out in Sokebolou and Yokri communities in Ogulagha kingdom.

According to the Chairman of the Pondi Eddy Foundation, Pondi Eddy, the exercise forms “part of her objectives to assist the less privilege and to take care of the sick elderly ones in society.”

“The exercise will include creating health care awareness through health talk, screening for eye diseases and giving out free reading glasses to those that have the need, while those that are treatable on the spot shall be administered drugs for free but cases that are severe shall be referred for further expert care, medical general practitioners will also screen for aww awwwexercise.

The Pondi Eddy Foundation has over the years provided succor to students in Ogulagha and Gbaramatu kingdoms in form of scholarships.

This will be the Foundation’s first medical outreach for the elderly.
