Fidelis Nnadi, a member of a vigilante group in Imo state has been killed by unknown gunmen.
The deceased was killed on Tuesday morning along Okwelle-Umuezealaibe road, Abba in Nwangele LGA of the state, while on his way back from the Okwelle area of the state where he had gone to purchase some items.
Confirming the incident, resident of the community told TheCable: “I spoke with the security commander and he said that the man went to Okwele to buy things and on his way back he was caught in the action,”

“The kidnappers heading to Okigwe identified him as a security agent and shot him as they drove towards Okigwe. He said he is from Ogwuaga Abba.”
Spokesperson of the state police command, Michael Abatta also confirmed the incident.
