Barcelona new boss, Xavi Hernandez, has reportedly revealed his plan to offload some players in January.

The 41-year-old was said to be ready to dispose three of Barca’s player in the January transfer window.

The three players include Luuk de Jong, Samuel Umtiti and Neto as Fichajes reported.

Xavi said the trio would be sold to enable him reinforce his squad.

It was also added that the former Al Sadd’s manager has aquainted Barca’s chief, Joan Laporta of the plan.

Ronald Koeman’s successor at Camp Nou believes selling the players would enable him to buy players of his own choice.

The 31-year-old De Jong was signed by the former coach and has struggled to contribute so far in his tenure at Barcelona just like the ex-player of Lyon, Umtiti has also been out of favour since last season.

In the same vein, former Valencia shot-stopper, Neto has not been given an opportunity to overtake Marc-Andre ter Stegen at Camp Nou since 2019 he had joined the club.
