The Executive Director Planning, Research and Statistics on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Shedrack Lucky Agediga has poured encomiums on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his “governance style.”
Agediga, who was a Senior Special Assistant on Conflict Resolution during Okowa’s first tenure, particular lauded the former Senator for the smooth execution of the Smart Delta Agenda.

“From the beginning of the prosperous and Smart Delta of the Governor Okowas administration of Delta state, there are evidence of tremendous and strategic growth and development of the state.
“Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa since he took his first and second oath on May 29, 2015 and 2019 consecutively, he has delivered massively on human capital development targeted primarily at the youth generation and creating the right environment for business growth and resilience.
“Most recently, the commissioning of a State secretariat that would house 27 ministries and save the state billions of naira for other areas of developmental concern is only a testament of a meticulous administrator.
“As part of his promise to reduce the cost of governance, he has created an indelible mark of excellence by building a beffiting engineering edifice for ministries and the entire civil service in Delta state.
“The people of the state are very happy with his dynamic leadership style that continue to bring the dividends of democracy to the electorates in every corner of Delta state.
“I am particularly delighted that his Excellency vision, for a shared prosperity for all Deltans is guiding his spread of projects across the state.
