Super Eagles interim manager, Augustine Eguavoen has revealed a player that could not be substituted in yesterday’s Nigeria match against Egypt in the African Cup Of Nations.

However, the Everton star, Alex Iwobi was later substituted for Moses just like Sadiq Umar also replaced Taiwo Awoniyi.

Eguavoen told the media after the game: “We know the strength of our players, we know Ejuke is good from the left side, but it was impossible to substitute Simon [so we put Ejuke on the right].”

“It was a tactical change and Ejuke had chances to finish the game. For Umar, maybe first time nerves in such a big stage, he gave me some excuses after the game and we will talk to him later.”
