Nigerian Airforce, NAF, pounded Gwaska’s bandits camp with airstrikes, killing 43 high-profile terrorists and their foot soldiers in Katsina State.
According to the source, several terrorists under the command of Gwaska Dankarami and Alhaji Abdulkarami were neutralized during the sustained airstrikes that occurred on Sunday at Illela Community in Katsina.
The source also revealed a series of attacks in the Safana and Dan Musa Local Government Areas of Katsina State.

Prior to the airstrikes, the NAF team was said to have destroyed a rocky cave on the outskirts of Ilela Village, which served as a safe haven for terrorists after they had terrorized citizens or communities.
“After receiving reports of continuous terrorist attacks on villages around Safana LGA, particularly in Ilela Village, where about 12 people were recently killed and others chased out of their villages, the air component of “Operation Hadarin Daji” deployed Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft to unravel the terrorists’ modus operandi.”
“ISR platform footage revealed significant terrorist activity in some rocky hills about 1.5 kilometers southwest of Ilela and south of Rubu Villages.” Further examination of the video revealed armed terrorists riding on 19 motorcycles along multiple tracks leading into a cave within the rocky hills.
“As a result, the OPHD Air Component dispatched a fighter jet and helicopter gunship on an air interdiction mission to exterminate and inflict maximum casualties on the enemy.”
The source, a domestic intelligence operative working with locals, revealed that the airstrikes killed a large number of terrorists.
“In rocky enclaves, the aircraft engaged fleeing terrorists on motorcycles carrying bombs.”
At least 43 terrorists’ bodies were discovered nearby, including Alhaji Shingy, the brother of the assassinated bandit leader Auta.
In response, the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Edward Gabkwet, was quoted as saying, “strikes against terrorist elements will continue for as long as they continue to pose threats to peace-loving Nigerians, and with the level of coordination and cooperation among the services and other security agencies, Nigerians should not be surprised with the high level of successes being recorded through precision strikes aimed at terrorists and foot soldiers.”
