Ozobo who spoke after an enlarge meeting among Ijaw communities in Warri consisting of Meinbutu, Ogbokone, Olabrakopre, Egbemene among others, vehemently warned that the Ijaws will not condone Tidi’s clandestine imposition of an Itsekiri man to pilot the affairs of an Ijaw market.

The communities stated sternly that Tidi has no jurisdiction to impose his stooge on the Ijaws, warning him to be mindful of the drums of conflict he’s playing.

They wondered if an Ijaw man will be appointed as Market master in the Kpessu and Ugbuwangue Markets.

The community stakeholders stressed that the move is a confirmation of the conspiracy behind the abandonment of the market, saying that it is to further push for the claims of ownership of the market.

The stakeholders simply called on the governor ifeanyi Okowa led Delta State Government to quickly prevail on Tidi to avert the tension already brewed by the appointment.
