BREAKING: History as Aisha Buhari Visits Senate Chambers | Daily Report Nigeria

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari has paid an historic visit to the Senate Chambers.

Aisha thus becomes the first wife of a Nigerian President to be accepted into the Red Chambers.

She is reportedly at the Senate chambers to bear witness to the presentation of the report of the Senate Constitution Review Committee.

Daily Report Nigeria gathered that the Senate had deferred the submission of the report to a later time during the proceedings to allow Mrs Buhari bear witness.

She is accompanied on the visit by the Minister of Women Affairs Mrs Pullen Tallen; Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed and some of her personal aides.
