The Police Command in Ogun has confirmed the deaths of two people in an accident involving a trailer and a motorcycle on Tuesday night in Asero, Abeokuta.
The accident happened around 8:00 p.m., according to the Command’s spokesperson, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi.
Oyeyemi observed that an enraged mob descended on the truck and set it ablaze, while the driver fled.

“The incident happened around 8:00 p.m. A trailer crushed two people traveling on an Okada at the More Junction in Abeokuta, according to the command.
“We later learned that the trailer was set on fire by a mob.” “We are already looking into the incident,” he said.
Officers from the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, according to Oyeyemi, transported the deceased to the State Hospital Ijaye morgue (TRACE).
The motorcyclist was attempting to navigate the intersection between Asero and Car Wash when the accident occurred.
