President Muhammadu Buhari has said he is unhappy with the present height state of insecurity in the country.
The Grand Commander in Chief of the Arm Forces of Nigeria disclosed his displeasure while briefing State House Correspondents on Thursday, in Abuja.

The disclosure followed a security briefing with the National Security Adviser (NSA), Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno (Rtd.), who stated that President Buhari had charged the country’s Service Chiefs to double up on their efforts.

Quoting the President, Monguno stated that though the service chiefs have giving in their best, their best had not been good enough to curb the security challenges bedevilling the nation.
The President thus charged the service chiefs that their excuses will no be tolerated henceforth, as he expects everyone to live up to what is expected of them.
President Buhari decried the lack of synergy between the various security forces, urging the various heads to all work together towards solving the security challenges in the country.
According to Monguno, the President further charged the office of the Natiinal Security Adviser to liaise with Northwest state governors alongside the governor of Niger State, over a potential briefing towards the organization of a response to the challenges in their territories.
