Oshiomhole Threatens Legal Action Against PDP

Suspended All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, has threatened a legal action against the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) if the incumbent Governor of Edo state “Godwin Obaseki” becomes the guber flag bearer of the forthcoming Edo election under the opposition party.

Following the resignation of Obaseki from the APC, Adams Oshiomhole has described the action as “good radiance to bad rubbish”.

While emphasizing on PDP’s alleged involvement in the APC crisis, he stated that the PDP had earlier taken Obaseki’s case to court on the ground of traces of certificate forgery by Obaseki when he contested for governorship under the APC platform.

Oshiomhole added that the case was eventually struck out as the opposition party didn’t come up with evidences on time.

Oshiomhole however threatened to use the same submission by the PDP in court if Obaseki is fielded as the opposition party Edo gubernatorial candidate, as he affirmed that the APC has realised more forgery evidences against Obaseki.

However, it’s not certain yet if the PDP will actually field Obaseki as its Edo gubernatorial candidate as the party’s decision on that is being awaited.
